I take you : Tell us about finding your wedding dress?
The bride : In a last season wedding sale and then, One of my friends added lace sleeves.
I take you : How did you choose your wedding flowers?
The bride : Kilburn florist close to our house and my sister made the table decorations using flowers from covent garden market. Lots of peonies and roses.
I take you : Describe your wedding cake or dessert.
The bride : We had a beautiful handmade wedding cake made by Jen, one of my bridesmaids, surrounded by handmade cupcakes. Dessert was meringues, cakes, cupcakes and of course the ice cream van.
I take you : What was your favorite detail of the wedding?
The bride : Our DIY vintage table plan along with a London Themed bar. I also made a ring cushion, the menus and order of service and we wrote a London quiz for the guests buy journey through town. Our ceilings were decorated with huge tissue pom pom in reds, blues and pinks. Jam jars the cocktails that my friend collected over months.
I take you : Did you write your own vows or you stick with traditional vows?
The bride : We had a traditional vow.
I take you : What reading did you have at your ceremony?
The bride : Lovely poem by our friend.
I take you : What songs did use throughout your wedding?
The bride : Great band called the saint (www.saintband.co.uk) and they agreed to let me surprise my husband. I bought him his dream bass guitar and he then got up and played a song with them. First dance music was Love love love by Avalanche City- Just listen to the lyrics.
I take you : What was your most memorable moment about your wedding day?
The bride : The atmosphere during the speeches. So much love and joy.
I take you : What advice do you have for bride to be currently planning a wedding?
The bride : Everything always goes up 🙂 On the wedding day just enjoy the energy and happiness of the day
