Many couples find it difficult to find the perfect venue that combines elegance and intimacy, but the idea of having a backyard wedding can be intimidating. Today wedding feature is certainly for the bride who prefer a more personal, intimate atmosphere (or is thinking about) planning a backyard celebration. We love intimate weddings, especially when the bride and groom are so stylish. This sweet romantic wedding of Amanda and Chris held in Cologne, they celebrated their nuptials in their own back yard. Amanda’s Helena Harfst wedding dress was a perfect balance between fitting their space and theme while ensuring the bride looked exquisite above all. With Julia and Gil Photography behind the lens capturing all the hard work that Amanda and Chris were able to create a beautiful backyard wedding…This is definitely a wedding from which we’ll all be stealing ideas.
We can’t help but to swoon over this stunning Helena Harfst wedding dress, the bodice of lace with long sleeves and deep back cut , the casual style and simple skirt and delicate loveliness design transformed Amanda quickly in a natural and very impressive bridal.
We love the idea of hanging their memory photo display as well as the guest place cards clothesline-style. This did double duty as décor, as they even clipped small pieces of natural foliage to the cards.
A gorgeous backyard with little green space, dozens pretty highlight such as bunting, pretty wildflowers, numerous plants and rustic wooden tables invited guests to stay, enjoy and laugh. A BBQ-summer wedding party in the romantic ambience + subtle vintage design mixed with some elegance. The barbecue is a lovely and relaxed option especially for summer weddings.
Wedding cake & Desserts
Their charming rustic theme continued to the dessert display, where they utilized the natural earth tones of fresh fruits on a chocolate-iced wedding cake and used mason jars for creamy treats.
